 Amtech
Corporation began production in 1987 manufacturing commercial products including
large Kenworth Truck Company motor hoods and sleeper cab assemblies. Amtech
also supplied JBL with high end fiberglass speaker horns for over a decade.
After a few years of business, diversification of processing capabilities
enabled vacuum forming our own line of truck bed liners and subsequently,
our production of formed truck canopies for GemTop.
Later we entered the recreational markets by forming kayaks for Eddyline
Kayaks and travel trailer components for Western RV. We also produced aircraft
sink components using marble like surfaces for the Boeing 737 restrooms.
Over the years, as a custom fabricator, Amtech has been involved in some
of the most amazing uses for composites. Creative examples include 17 foot
champagne glasses, giant jelly bean art, futuristic architecture including
casino columns, and giant flower leaves. We also supported the local marine
industry with small boats, fishing dock pontoons, and commercial fish tanks.
Today, many of our earliest customers are still Amtech partners as we continue
to diversify our processes, capabilities, and market sectors.
