 For
a number of years, Amtech Corporation has been providing custom
solutions to satisfy new requirements emanating from new technologies.
Major defense contractors have asked Amtech engineers to design
vehicle tops that provide a versatile environment needed to protect
systems used by Soldiers and Marines. Amtech custom solutions are
used in numerous programs including PROPHET, CESAS, CONDOR, TPCS,
and BCOTM.
If a military Program Manager is looking for a Helmet Hardtop® specifically
tailored for his or her program, a discussion with Amtech Corporation
will lead to the design of a top that is custom engineered for that
program’s
unique requirements. Sensitive electronic equipment is protected
from rain and dust, optional air conditioning reduces heat stresses
on the equipment, and the Aberdeen tested tops allow for installation
of major antenna arrays, up to 400 lbs., without degrading the environmental
effectiveness of the top.
Should military requirements call for vehicle armor, Amtech’s
lightweight composite armor is adaptable for any custom solution
desired. Moldable, without seams, the custom non-armor Helmet Hardtop® can
also be manufactured with an armor solution, not add-on armor, that
is at least equal to or superior to any metal solutions currently
available in the market place.
Before you invest in old, traditional, box like shelters for
systems mounted on the HMMWV, we suggest that you investigate utilizing
a custom Helmet Hardtop® from Amtech, one that is designed and sized
specifically for the program you desire to field. We are confident
you will be pleased!

The Military Mealstar®
FC 90/90 consists of 2- heavy duty 90 cu. ft. fiberglass
compartments with stainless steel interiors and adjustable/removable
stainless steel racking systems. This unit is designed to hold temperatures
from -10 degrees in the frozen compartment as well as 34 degrees and
above in the cold compartment, and is mounted on a heavy duty diesel
Isuzu NR1 chassis.
This unit was specifically designed to withstand inclement weather
conditions while transporting large quantities of frozen and/or cold
food items as well as MRE’s and other perishable items to our
troops in the field or on the base.
