Description
Our streamlined design features over 9 inches of additional headroom
over canvas tops. In the field, this space allows ample clearance
for secondary helmet equipment. In addition, soldiers appreciate the
enhanced interior environment, with far superior protection from water
and dust along with reduced road noise.
Amtech’s simplistic mounting system uses a simple angle bracket
system designed to allow rapid installation with minimum vehicle preparation.
Our design allows for easy installation and removal. The Helmet Hardtop®
has been designed to be mounted on the HMMWV at depot or unit-level
shops.
The rear hatch access door is lockable and when our lockable personnel
doors are utilized, the complete HMMWV can be secured. In addition,
we offer as an option secure equipment compartments, accessible from
outside the vehicle on either side of the top, which provide additional
secure storage. |
