Lucite®
Acrylic Surfaces
Lucite® acrylics are used exclusively in our spa surfaces for
the best long term performance. Lucite® acrylics are formulated
especially for the spa industry and incorporate a unique Microban®
additive to aid in the control of surface bacteria growth. Acrylics
offer durable, easy to clean surfaces, with many colors, magnificent
luster, color retention, and UV resistance.

Vacuum
Forming
Sonoma Spas, by Amtech, specializes in deep draw vacuum formed components.
Our forming equipment and tooling are specially modified to produce
quality acrylic spa shells. We use excellent process controls and
proprietary forming techniques which are vital for maintaining material
performance, which were learned over many years of research and development. |

Acrylic
Shell Reinforcement
Sonoma Spas, by Amtech, utilizes our True Bonding lamination system
for the highest quality fiberglass to acrylic bonding possible. All
spas are reinforced in the foot well area with marine grade plywood
completely sealed in fiberglass for long life. Our fiberglass reinforcement
is hand rolled and inspected for uniform glass to resin content. |

Aqua-Flo
Pumps
We offer state of the art Aqua-Flo® dual speed pumping systems
for high performance, low maintenance, and long life in continuous
operation. Throughout the water circulation system, we use the highest
quality materials, including high grade vinyl tubing, filter housings,
and jet port systems. |

Plumbing
All flexible tubing connections are both clamped and glue sealed for
double leak protection.

Balboa
Equipment Pack
The Balboa Duplex Digital is a versatile control system that adds
value and flexibility to our spas. It is capable of operating a wide
range of functions and by utilizing high quality engineering and microprocessor
technology. The Duplex Digital is highly reliable, capable yet simple.
Factory preset features such as time outs, ozone management, and filtration
settings make day to day operation a breeze. |

Insulation
Sprayed on insulation of two pound high density urethane foam provides
excellent heat retention.
Reflectix® Insulation sheeting is used on side skirts and bottom
floor for double wall heat retention and improved vapor barrier.

Surround
Skirting
We offer two choices of skirting for your new spa:
Western Red Cedar
Our cabinet shop uses the finest tongue and groove Western Red Cedar
possible attached to rigid 2x4 frame work. Western Red Cedar features
beautiful wood grains with a natural resistance to moisture and insects.
All wood used in our spa framework is weather treated and our skirting
has a weather protection coating.
Maintenance Free Option
We offer the option for CPI Synthetic® skirt cladding for UV resistance
and maintenance free performance throughout the life of the product.

Floor System
Our spas are completed with weather resistant ABS plastic flooring
with a Reflectix® Insulation backing for heat retention. Our spa’s
ground contact surface will not rot or decay over time, and provides
an excellent vapor barrier protective internal wood framing. |

Testing
Sonoma Spas are well known for the highest standards in product
quality. We incorporate rigid internal manufacturing standards throughout
the build cycle, which exceed the industry standards for workmanship
and overall quality.
Amtech’s spas are 100% water & dielectric tested, certified
through UL, and meet our rigorous ISO 9001: 2000 test procedures.
